Oh and just out of interest... what is the difference between 10 and 100mbit when it comes to dedicated servers ??
I mean, what is the difference in actual downloading/uploading speeds ?

You will not notice much of a difference unless your server is being used to host clients websites or it receives a massive amount of traffic daily. Usually a client would start with 10 mbps until their server is under a heavy load then they would change to 100 mbps and that would allow much more traffic into their server.
